Why the exhaust valve spindle matters
The exhaust valve spindle operates in one of the harshest areas of a 2-stroke engine: high exhaust gas temperatures, corrosive combustion products and constant impact on the valve seat. A worn or burnt spindle causes loss of compression, higher fuel consumption and the risk of unplanned downtime. A correctly made replacement spindle restores sealing and extends the time between exhaust valve overhauls.
